You will discover these Greek and Roman heritage in several castles such as Chambord, Blois, and Chaumont, Blois, and Vaux-le-Vicomte.

Traditions

Some traditions coming from the Renaissance are still alive today.

A very famous example are Guilds.

You will have the rare opportunity to be received in a guild of wine-makers called the "Confrerie de la chatepleure du Vouvray."

Symbolism

Symbolism has been a way to use symbolic images and presentations to express spiritual ideas, beliefs, and ancient philosophy. 
Architecture and art of the Renaissance contain a lot of symbols that can be deciphered to unveil their hidden message. Leonardo da Vinci, used several symbols in his work and you will have the opportunity to discover more about that during your travel.
